How this project uses Jev

Input
Length-limited sender, subject and message excerpts with heuristic masking, plus locally identified code and unsubscribe-link candidates
Jev decides
Choices classify login codes, newsletters, receipts, payment issues, promotions, urgent messages and other mail; optional questions select from existing code or unsubscribe candidates
Code executes
Uses labels for inbox filtering and UI hints; category confidence below 0.65 falls back to Other, while code and link candidates require 0.85. Archiving, replying and unsubscribing remain user-triggered

Evidence and limitations

The MIT license, pinned source and response handling were reviewed without installing the client, connecting an inbox or calling the model. Jev is off by default; enabling it sends email excerpts to TypeSafe. Heuristic masking does not guarantee complete redaction. Gmail and your own OAuth configuration are required. This source release is not a notarized downloadable app, and classification accuracy was not independently tested.

This project has not been run independently here. Author-reported results are not independently verified results.
