Sortroom
Sort IMAP mail into custom categories while retaining uncertain messages
How this project uses Jev
- Input
- Sender, recipient, subject, attachment names, mailing-list status, up to 3,000 body characters and user-defined categories
- Jev decides
- The default Jev model on OpenRouter judges category, required action, time-limited offers and expiry windows
- Code executes
- Thresholds determine moves, stars or inbox retention for review; sender rules bypass the model, and dry runs report actions without moving messages
Evidence and limitations
AGPL-3.0 licensing, default Jev configuration, category checks and mail-move logic were reviewed without connecting a real mailbox. Hosted inference sends message excerpts and metadata off-machine, and live mode changes mailbox state. This is beta software; classification errors and author cost estimates were not independently measured.
This project has not been run independently here. Author-reported results are not independently verified results.
