Catalog Match Lab
Review whether merchants list the same product and pack size
How this project uses Jev
- Input
- Pairs of requested and candidate product names containing brand, category, formulation, size and pack-count information
- Jev decides
- A Choice for each pair selects the same sellable product, a different product or insufficient evidence, explicitly accounting for sizes, variants and pack counts
- Code executes
- A local deterministic matcher first displays matches and price comparisons; optional Jev review runs only after a user clicks. Uncertain and error states remain explicit rather than becoming matches
Evidence and limitations
The MIT license, pinned source and Jev response validation were reviewed without model calls. The default demo uses synthetic products and prices, with a limited Spanish/English rule vocabulary. Small fixed tests do not establish real retail matching accuracy. Jev receives product names, and confidence is not measured accuracy. The bundled local server is not a production gateway.
This project has not been run independently here. Author-reported results are not independently verified results.
